World🌍 population Day was Observed at Government Sub District Hospital Mendhar under the supervision of Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan.A large number of people, ASHAs,Experts and Health Workers Participated in the awareness.
On the occasion Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan Block Medical Officer Mendhar, delivered a 'Detail Lecture' on the concern of awareness to all.Dr. Khan said, "World population Day is observed every year on 11th of July to raise awareness about Global Population issues.
Dr. Khan said, "Over Population has Become a major concern as Global Resources are being used at an unsustainable rate. Dr. Khan said, "The Theme for this Year is A World Of 8 Billion"Towards a Resilient future for All-Harnessing opportunities and ensuring Rights and choices for All."
Dr. Khan said, 'The theme suggests that 8 billion people's living today and due to this they 'Don't have equal Rights' and opportunities."Dr. Khan said, "On the Occasion, from start till date house to house survey was conducted for eligible couples Which are about 25000 in sub Division Mendhar and the'The Aim is spacing and 'Hum Dho Humare Dho'
For which temporary as well permanent methods for family planning are used for Temporary Likes Epills, Tab Chaya Inj Antra and condoms IUCD ,PPUICD.Dr. Khan said, "And for Permanent for Female Laproligation and For Male Vasectomy and urged all to follow this at one hearing."
Dr. Khan said, "As Day by Day population is Increasing, as population is increasing there is land distribution and construction of 'Maximum Houses' and one day will come there will be 'Houses on Earth but ''No Land."
Dr. Khan said, "Further if we have two children we will educate them better, keep them health better care as compare to maximum children more than 2."
Dr. Khan said, "Ask Ashas, FMPHWs and public present to aware public in General about this use all family planning methods.
Dr. khan on the occasion added , "Due to increase in population there is an Environmental impact as well as explosion on land.''
