  Lankan Tigers Cricket Team begged the Lankan Cricket Trophy with its win in the final match played between Lankan Tigers and Dream 11.  Earlier in the day, Abdal  khan Captain of Lankan Tigers won the toss and elected to bat, the team scored a total of  128 runs in 16 Overs.

  In reply, Dream 11 team bundled out in mere 80 runs paving the way for Lankan Tigers to grab the trophy in 20-20 Overs Premier League. The league has been organized by Zaiafat Ali, Istakhar Rahoof and Abdal Khan of  Mendhar to promote sports activity in the border town Mendhar of district Poonch.

  Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Malik, former Vice Chancellor of SNU and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference who was chief guest of the match  gave away the prizes to the players  and congratulated the winning team, he also appreciated the organizers for hosting the Cricket League in the border town for providing opportunities to the youth of the area.  

  While interacting with the players of both the team,  Dr Shahzad asked  them to focus on sports and games along with their studies and maintain distance from any kind of addiction.

  Other Prominent People local people of the area who were present and interacted with the players include Captain Abishek  of 37 R R,   Manzoor Kohli,  SHO Police Station Mendhar,   Advocate Asif , Khalid Chouhan, Tanveer Qureshi, Mahroof Jatt, Haji Asim jatt , Sageer Choudhary,  Prof. Alyaas    Choudhary,  Prof. Asad Imran,   Mohd Ismail Janjua  Master Shakoor and Master Safeer Saifi.
